Fingerprint scanning provides an entirely new level of security and convenience for self-storage owners, management, and your customers.
With fingerprint verification, you can configure Storage Commander to require the operator to scan their fingerprint prior to doing certain transactions, including move-ins, move-outs, payments, transfers, adjustments, returned checks, assigning a discount, changing a payment plan, charging a fee, and reversing a transaction. The fingerprint scanner will ensure that you can identify, without a doubt, which operator is responsible for which fingerprint-verified transaction.
Your customers can also benefit from the security and convenience of fingerprint identification. A customer can walk in, scan their fingerprint, and have their information pulled up instantly without the need to see the driver’s license or other forms of identification. From the customers account, you can make payments, financial adjustments, and verify or change the customer’s information.
If your customer would like to allow family members or other persons access to their unit, you can register their fingerprint to the customer’s account. Each time the other person requests access to a unit, simply scan their fingerprint to verify the customer they are representing.
The customer detail report provides a one-page record of personal information, including any notes that Storage Commander has recorded, current account status, a picture of the customer’s identification, and a picture of the fingerprint on file.
